As part of another study, a remarkable record of a freshly excised, human central foveal farfield radiation pattern has been obtained. This pattern has been analyzed by microdensitometry. A possible relationship to the Stiles-Crawford effect of the first kind (directional sensitivity of the retina) has been considered.
