Scanning Electron Microscopy Tissue Preparation

Cebus monkey angle tissue prepared by either the freeze drying method or the critical point method is superior to that prepared by air drying. The apparatus for the critical point method is less expensive and the technique faster with more consistent if not superior tissue dehydration for scanning electron microscopy.
