Cytoplasmic Granules of the Corneal Stroma Cell

Intracytoplasmic granules were demonstrated in normal rabbit keratocytes after fixation in formalin to which cetyl pyridinium chloride (CPC) had been added. The principal component of these granules was histochemically identified as keratan sulfate which is known to be the principal acid mucopolysaccharide of normal cornea
