Cover: Labeling of bovine cone photoreceptors with 7G6 antibody visualized with rhodamine-conjugated secondary antibody. As seen in primates, the entire cone cells including outer segments, inner segments, somata, and synaptic pedicles are labeled with 7G6. The bovine retina shown here was fixed under normal room light. In dark- and light-adapted bovine retina, the 7G6 antigen (cone arrestin) redistributes from the myoid region (dark) to the outer segment (light).
