Cover: Three-dimensional, reconstructed confocal micrograph of a wholemount DAPI-stained mouse cornea 24 hours after in vivo transfection by intrastromal injection of an adenoviral vector expressing an enhanced green fluorescent protein reporter gene. This image shows a view of EGFP-positive transfected corneal stromal cells (green) in front of epithelial cell nuclei (blue) as viewed from the posterior aspect of the corneal stroma.
