Shown here is a section from a 3-day-old laminin γ1 zebrafish mutant stained with an antibody recognizing a lens-specific protein. In zebrafish laminin mutants, the lens often ruptures from the lens capsule and becomes localized within the retinal neuroepithelium. Please see Lee and Gross on page 2483 of this issue.
