ARVO family of journals
The
Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) is the largest eye and vision research organization in the world. Members include over 11,500 eye and vision researchers from more than 75 countries. The association advances research worldwide into understanding the visual system and preventing, treating and curing its disorders. ARVO publishes three highly respected, peer-reviewed, open access journals.

IOVS, published online several times a month, includes original contributions that emphasize clinical and laboratory hypothesis-based research with statistically valid results that clearly advance the fields of ophthalmic and vision research. IOVS de-emphasizes purely descriptive research.

Journal of Vision is devoted to all aspects of visual function in humans and other organisms. It explores topics such as spatial vision, perception, low vision, color vision and more, spanning the fields of neuroscience, psychology and psychophysics.

TVST emphasizes multidisciplinary research that bridges the gap between basic research and clinical care.
